Let Romans 9 be about Israel

It's very hard to read that chapter without seeing non-stop jewish ensamples, examples, patterns, verses, etc. regarding them that Paul's talking about. Yet, when people read Romans 9, which leads into Romans 10, (specifically Romans 10:9-10) they think this chapter is written specifically about themselves, the Body of Christ.
The possible reason is because they always hear that "In Romans through Philemon, the Apostle Paul is talking to us", and thus, every single word they read (is wrongly believed and thus) is applied to them.
But what is found is this chapter alone concerning examples and ensamples?
Isaac? Sarah? Rebecca? Jacob? Esau? Moses? Pharoah? Hosea and Isaiah? Not to mention the word "Israel" and "Israelites" in there, with cross references to Obadiah and much more. Yet, why some would bring themselves to plug themselves into this chapter, leading them to "call upon the name of the Lord" to be saved in the next chapter? Unknown.
Let Romans 9 be about Israel. Let Paul speak to whom he's going to speak to, thus Let God be true, and every man a liar. You can't improve it or fix it. By trying, you're digging the hole deeper.
