To Whom Paul Addresses

As we continue on through Romans, and we go through Chapter 7, we see just in the first verse something that most groups, religions, and denominations skip over. "Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?" - Romans 7:1

For I speak to them...that know the law. That would be Israel. Paul expands upon this a little more in Romans 9:3-5 when he says " For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen." - Romans 9:3-5

So when Romans is studied, and for that matter, when Romans through Philemon is studied, it must be further studied out within Paul's epistles to whom Paul addresses in his letters.

Yes, we've gotten that far to Rightly Divide the Word of truth, and to understand we're not looking for our instructions in Habbakuk or Matthew someplace. Yes, we've zoomed in on "Romans through Philemon" as typically said....but now, we've got to take what is typically called Romans through Philemon, and break that down even further.

Who is Paul addressing when he writes those epistles? Is it to us, the Body of Christ? Is it to Israel? Is it when he had spiritual gifts, or after? Is it when he's still being taught information directly from the Lord Jesus? Or when everything is complete? There's a lot of questions to ask when you GET to Romans through Philemon...don't just stop there, because you just GOT there.

Yes, you're not in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John as is the typical religious evangelical church that's going down the drain. That's good. But you must do more than be a "Romans through Philemon" only person too, and study deeper, and dig deeper to learn more about Jesus Christ according to the Revelation of the Mystery (Romans 16:25-26) and it starts with to whom Paul addresses, especially in Romans 7:1.
