"Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him." - Romans 6:9
"Christ being raised from the dead". That's the first part the natural man does not believe. And thus, a multitude of truth about the Lord and his word is not discerned. "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14
Thus explaining why you can't tell a Roman Catholic Romans 6:9. Christ has to die every week according to their religious rituals. Not only that, he must return in the form of a cracker, that he may be digested, and come back and die again for the next event, whenever the next time may be that they walk into their religious building.
So to say that the Lord Jesus Christ "dieth no more"; would upset their superstitions; it should cause them to have an uproar of confusion, to question their so called priests on every sentence and get them to ask, "what is the meaning of this?"
But no. Today, we see a society filled with the natural man, where, when you explain to them Romans 6:9...they simply state "I believe that too", not even understanding what you've just mentioned, and go back to their wafer on Sunday.
The Roman Catholic and their whole religion is a lost one. Headed for hell without a doubt. Just today, an article shows their leader stating one of "unity". (Unity conferences and a theme of "Grace Unity behind bad doctrine" is a plague here in Central Florida).
The Pope states "“As bishop of Rome and pastor of the Catholic Church, I want to beg for mercy and forgiveness for un-Gospel-like behaviour on the part of Catholics against Christians of other churches,” the Pope said on Monday at a prayer service concluding the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
“We ask most of all for forgiveness for the sin of our divisions, which are an open wound on the body of Christ,” Pope Francis said.“At the same time, I ask all my Catholic brothers and sisters to forgive if, today or in the past, they were hurt by other Christians,” he said. “We cannot erase what happened, but we do not want to allow the burden of past faults to continue to poison our relationships.” (End Quote)
He wants to beg for mercy and forgiveness for un-Gospel like behaviour on the part of Catholics against Christians of other churches? The slaughter, murder, intentional mutilation of so many was just merely "un-Gospel like behaviour"? That's it? That smells of Liberation Theology and Matthew 5.
"Un-gospel like behaviour, as in....un-Kingdom gospel-like behaviour"? When Christians refused to pray to Mary, and Catholics slaughtered them and mutilated them, are you saying the proper response should have been ...
"But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" - Matthew 5:39-44?
You're still over 2000 years late to the party, and still unsaved as it gets, Roman Catholicism. But let's continue with Romans 6:9
"Death hath no more dominion over him".
That can be seen from what the Lord expresses in Prophecy in such verses as Revelation 1:18: "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." and there are others of course. But again, don't tell this to the Roman Catholic. This will upset their transubstantiation delusion.
The Roman Catholic doctrine is defined in the second canon of the thirteenth session of the Council of Trent:
"If anyone says that in the sacred and holy sacrament of the Eucharist the substance of the bread and wine remains conjointly with the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, and denies that wonderful and singular change of the whole substance of the bread into the body and the whole substance of the wine into the blood, the appearances only of bread and wine remaining, which change the Catholic Church most aptly calls transubstantiation, let him be anathema."
Actually, let's throw out that last part. Tell this to the Roman Catholic. Explain all of this to them, and upset their delusion. not only that but "how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" - 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Tell it not only to the Roman Catholic, but to all of natural mankind. That they would be saved, understand the dispensation of the Grace of God and The Lord Jesus Christ according to the Revelation of the Mystery, and tell others as well.
