We Establish The Law

"Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." - Romans 3:31

Many grace believers take a position (sadly) that once they are saved, and come into a grace camp, all they can ever read for the rest of their life is Romans through Philemon. That's it, the end. (Don't misunderstand, it's where you begin, and the right place to start)

While it's true and important that in Paul's Epistles alone is the doctrine and instruction for the church the Body of Christ today, (and even in there you must rightly divide Paul to see where he's talking to Israel, or about Israel) the other books are not made void and never read nor used.

We know that we're NOT under the law ("for ye are not under the law, but under grace" - Romans 6:14) . and that there are those today who will use the law wrongly: "Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm." - 1 Timothy 1:7

That being the case, at some point, you'll have to study it out, or have some verses on backup (at the very least) to prove that what the tither is doing is wrong. What the individual who just participated in water baptism did is wrong. What the person did who thought he/she kept the Sabbath did is wrong. And yet, you're not putting anybody under the law.

Moreover, have you studied out some of the other denominations? The Seventh Day Adventists, (just picking on them for example) do studies on the book of 2nd Kings and 2nd Chronicles when they all come and meet together. Have you even read those books before? Some of you say yes....and some of you say no. By reading them, and studying them, and understanding where they fit in prophecy, and how you can use them to prove how they don't fit whatsoever into the Revelation of the Mystery.... you're not putting anybody under the law. You're helping to pull people out of the denominational mess they've gotten themselves into. How else will you reach them? By merely saying "That's was for them, this is for us?" Are they supposed to be awed by that? How about you show them a verse. Or multiple verses. From Galatians, but from others as well.

Also, "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." - Galatians 3:24. Use it as a schoolmaster. A tool for you, the Ambassador of Christ. Not a took as a teacher of the law...for as we read earlier...you will understand neither what you say, nor whereof you affirm. But when someone thinks they're the best thing since sliced bread? Go through these 613 commandments, and see if they've kept them...it should bring them to their need to trust the gospel. And yet, you're not putting anybody under the law.

Even Romans 16:25-26, that famous verse talking about "Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery" that most grace believers use or know, talks about how were stabilized by three things as a believer. 1) Paul's "My Gospel..... 2) the Preaching of Jesus Christ according to the Revelation of the Mystery..... and 3) the scriptures of the prophets. Use the scriptures of the prophets lastly, (not off the bat...but learn them over time for stabilization and benefit for your ministry and walk.)

"But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;" - 1 Timothy 1:8-10

Establish the law, use it as a tool in your arsenal to help you, but never put anybody under it.
